We were tasked with doing a full refurbishment on six Belle Rolfo car transporters after the old tired tractor units were replaced with a shiny new Scania P series tractor units. These jobs included having the wheels shot blasted and repainted, and new vinyl pillar coverings in the operators colour scheme. All the old lights were replaced with new LED lighting. These vehicles had all hydraulic rams removed for resealing and ram rod replacement and ram body's painted. These jobs also involved full decks being removed for welding and strengthening. We also replaced the the loading ramps for the new light weight versions. Among lots of other things we strengthened the axles and lifting block assembly's as these are prone to cracking, and replaced all deck pivot pins and bushes with new ones. They also had new safety poles, P posts and cables as the old ones were all either bent, broken or both.
